As a publisher, you might want to run non-guaranteed campaigns with an advertiser. And, Google Ad Manager can help you run campaigns seamlessly.
On a higher-level, this is how you to set up a Preferred Deal in Ad Manager:
Step 1: Create a proposal.
Sign in to your GAM account and go to Sales > Proposal > New Proposal. Enter the advertiser and buyer details.
Step 2: Add a proposal line item.
Once you’ve added the necessary details, you can proceed further to add proposal line item. As the name implies, in here, you’ll enter all the line item details including contracted impressions, CPM rate, campaign start and end date, priority, ad creative sizes, targeting, and more.
Step 3: Negotiation and Finalization.
Once you sent the proposal, buyer will review and then you can finalize the campaign to start running it at the intended date.
Note: You need to click “Request Acceptance” to finalize the deal. If you want to negotiate the deal and propose a different terms, you can do so with “Send for review”.
